Cause I'm thinking of what to post.
Well, Christmas is coming, I'll post something about Christmas.
Topic is:SANTA VS JESUS!
1.Santa lives at the North Pole ... JESUS is everywhere.

2.Santa rides in a sleigh ... JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

3.Santa comes but once a year. JESUS is an ever present help.

4.Santa fills your stockings with goodies ... JESUS supplies all your needs.

5.Santa comes down your chimney uninvited ... JESUS stands at your door and knocks, and enters your heart.

6.You have to wait in line to see Santa ... JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

7.Santa lets you sit on his lap ... JESUS lets you rest in His Arms.

8.Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, what's your name?" ...
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our history and future, and He even knows our hearts & how many hairs are on our heads.

9.Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly ... JESUS has a heart full of love, grace, mercy & forgiveness.

10.All Santa can offer is HO HO HO ... JESUS says "Cast your cares on me for I care for
you."

11.Santa's little helpers make toys ... JESUS makes a new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

12.Santa may make you chuckle but ... JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

13.While Santa puts gifts under your tree ... JESUS became our gift and died on the cross,
For you & for me.

It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put CHRIST back in Christmas, Jesus is still the reason for the season.

Self confidence VS God-confidence.

In among Christians, there are quite a few types of people in terms of confidence level.
Some are those with low esteem. (not very good)
Some are those with high esteem. (sounds worst)
Some are those with great self confidence. (sounds nice)
Some are those with great God-confidence. (sounds nicer!)
And the list go on and on and on....

Okay, I'm going to narrow down into two types.
Self confidence VS God-confidence.
It's great to have self confidence especially when you go for job interview or speaking to the public.
With that, you will be even smoother when speaking.
But over self confidence?
It will trash you!
Over self confidence meaning you believe in yourself in everything!
Your confidence level is so high that you believe that everything can be done with your own hands.
You are possible to do anything and everything but in fact you can't.

God confidence?
You believe everything can be done with God!
Even the bible verse proves that!
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHEN ME!
God wants you to have confidence with Him that He let you know through Christ, everything can be done with your own hands as you got the holy spirit right under your skin!
THAT IS GOD CONFIDENCE!!!
Nothing can compare with that man!
If you really have confidence in God, believe and live with this golden verse, YOU SERIOUSLY CAN DO ALL THINGS!
Just don't forget, you must do it through Christ!

Been thinking of the posts I've posted and what to post so I've came to a conclusion to post what Pastor had preached about and which is what I've been doing along!

Topic of the day: STAR THROWER

I bet a lot of people have read this before, the star thrower but in case nobody have read this, I'm going to post the story of it before I post my message if not there will be no link!

Once upon a time, there was a wise man used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had the habit of walking along the beach before he began his work. One day he was walking along the shore; as he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day, so he began to walk faster to catch up. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn't dancing, but instead, he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean.

As he got closer he called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?" The young man paused, looked up and replied, "Throwing Starfish into the ocean."

"I guess I should have asked; why are you throwing Starfish into the ocean?"

"The sun is up and the tide is going out and if I don't throw them in they'll die."

"But young man, don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and Starfish all along it, you can't possibly make a difference!"

The young man listened politely, then bent down, picked up another Starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves. "It made a difference for that one."

His response surprised the man, he was upset, he didn't know how to reply, so instead he turned away and walked back to the cottage to begin his writings.

Alright, I'm back to the topic of the story.
I want to encourage readers to be able to help others needy!
In Luke chapter 5, Jesus saw a group of fisher mens did not have much catch so Jesus helped them to catch a lot of fishes and thus, Peter, James and John became Jesus follower.
Jesus helped them by making their needs and how to do so?

Firstly, you will have to help those who cannot help themselves and be a fisher of men!
Some people might tell me, but everybody are living so well! How am I going to find people who are in need?!

There are a few places and types of people to look out for though.
Go to deep/dark places of the world. I'm not referring to the drains but I'm just referring to the people who are in a ain't better living condition like the poorer estates or places like this.

Find people who have spiritual gap/love disparity. Spiritual gap and those love disparity basically quite easy to spot. Emo people are usually lack of love. Another type is those who have broken family or bad attitude.

Now, two types of people found but how to do so?
Firstly, it is servant hood. You must be willing to bow down your head and be willing to serve them so that they will know that you are of mostly willing to help and not of any special intention.

Secondly, you must be willing to take risks and sacrifice. When you help someone, surely there would be things for you to lose, even time. Some lose are bigger like losing of big bucks or whatever but you must be willing to lose it to be able to help a lot of people.

Thirdly, you must have patient, love, compassion and mercy. If you do not have this 4 aspects, you cannot be able to help anybody. If you don't have the patient to be able to persist on to help, people will reject you so quickly that you will not have the chance. If you don't have love, compassion and mercy in you, you will not even have the heart, the mood to help anybody.

Lastly, the great commandment. It is love your neighbors like you love yourself!

Okay, 6 practical ways to do so.
1. Be hospitable for one another.

Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.

2. Care for one another.

3. Pray for one another.

James 5:16 (New King James Version)

16 Confess your trespasses^[a] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

4. Restore one another.

James 5:19-20 (New King James Version)

19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul^[a] from death and cover a multitude of sins.

5. Teach and admonish one another.

Colossians 3:16 (New King James Version)

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

6. Serve one another.

Galatians 5:13 (New King James Version)

13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

SO! After sharing how to serve, here's a challenge. We must find our Starfish, and if we throw our stars wisely and well, I have no question that the 21st century is going to be a wonderful place.

Oh man, I've said I'm going to post in few days time but now it's like over a week!
My apologies man. Been quite busy. Do pray for me alright?

Okay, since I've not posted a message for long, I'll post something very simple. Message for today is <Why does Christians still have ups and downs?>

Classic question asked by a lot of non- Christians. They will think, why would i sacrifice my time to go to church and in the end, I still have ups and downs?

Here's the answer.

Having ups and downs basically is just the process of life! What we are going through right now is just a small part of us but after we die, the eternal place, be it heaven or hell, is the main thing. So now we're living in a test of life! The ups and downs are tests from God and how do you respond and change the situation will determine the treasure in hell or heaven or maybe even where you spend your eternal life! So ups and downs are just a test from God.

Secondly, ups and downs were also stepping stone from God! It moulds our character too for us to handle any bigger problems in future.

Thirdly, ups and downs might be from the devil trying to destroy you, pull you away from God!

So, I had my 3 reasons for ups and downs, I'll supply 3 reasons for us to accept Christ though.

Firstly, accepting Christ is the MAIN thing to go to heaven! If you are performing very well but at the end of the day, you still don't believe Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior, you will still not go to heaven!

Secondly, we will even have more than enough to even help people overcome their problems! Logically, to be a blessing, you have to be blessed so with the blood of Jesus, we will be bless so we can be a blessing to others!

Lastly, if we have Christ in us, we will be able to overcome problems easier as we are not alone facing the problem but we have the almighty! We will have the wisdom, anointment, strength and blessing of God to help us to solve problems! Heard of the story of footprints? I remembered posting it way before but I'll give a brief summary.

One day, a man dream of walking down the seashore with God and the man saw 2 sets of footprints and God told him this were his life. As the man look, God was always at his side but when he saw the point where he were facing difficulties, there was only one set of footprints. He asked God," Why wasn't you with me when I needed the most?" God replied," I was there with you, and in fact, I am carrying you at my back. I'm carrying the burden for you."

Morale of the story. God will always be at your side even if you cannot see it, surely He will let you face problems but He will guide you through no matter what and not leave you there!

Another question pop out of my mind as I was typing this story.
Why does Adam live with such blessing in the garden of Eden and we still have ups and downs even if we accepted Christ?

2Reasons.
1. Adam faced problems too! God gave him a problem to solved, which is to name all the animals in the garden and they were all the beast and fowls in the world! It's like such a great number which is a big problem but God helped him to overcome it by giving him great wisdom.

2. True enough, he was still very blessed because he lived in such a clean place whereas we are living with all the sins and evil which is always readily to harm us.

Okay, I think that's about all but before I end this, I would like to share something about me.

Being in church for about 1year and 3months, inexperienced, I'm a cluster leader. I do not know a lot of things and did not know what to do and I have about 6 souls on my hand! Surely, I will face problems and I always get troubled and sometimes, I will be too weak to be so tempted to say GOD I GIVE UP but I carried on! I prayed and went on with this cluster believing God will do something for my cluster, will solve my problem and I'm not the one leading but God is. True enough, as I begin to believe, God begins to solve problems after problems overnight! Miracles have been happening in this cluster making me believing God is really in this cluster.

Guys, God is really in your life. It's just the matter whether you want to have a firm stop of trying to be superman and solve everything on your own, and when nothing goes your way, you blame it to God. You must also pray to Him, believe in Him that He is going to be inside your life and you're not alone. It is only then, things will change. If you want to be superman, God will let you do it and watch you fail but when you are readily allowing Him to do it, He will settle it quickly for you but remember, GIVE THANKS to everything He does!

Okay, I think that's about all. Hope all this help. I shall end this with a prayer!

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You Lord for giving me this chance to post a message about You, giving me this revelation to tell people about You. Lord, I pray that every reader who reads this blog, their hearts will be stirred. Non-Christian, they will start to believe that God is real in whatever manner. Yes, here I am sharing one verse which rather impact me somehow.
In Isaiah14:3 it says: It shall come to pass in the day the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve.

"It shall come to pass" assures that it will surely come so don't worry, this verse sure works!

"Lord gives you rest from your sorrow and from your fear" Ain't you proud to be a Christian?You have someone of the highest to be able to be given rest from all your unhappiness, fear, resentments and etc... Surely, it shall come to pass, it will happen that when you're so tired, so sad over certain things, so afraid and etc, God will be there for us!

This verse encourages me a lot as I serve in my cluster, there is really sorrows, fears and hard bondage in which I were made to serve! True enough, everything went alright as God gave me rest! Guys, if you are facing problems in the midst of serving and etc, don't be discourage because you have One that some does not have, the rest from God! Ask and you will be given seek and you will find so keep on going! Never give up.

This 3 verses really impacts me a lot and I would like to share this to many young Christians out there. I know very few young Christians would not be viewing this blog, this entry, so those more mature Christians, if you think this is good, it will bring up the faith of young Christians, please, share this!

As we become a Christian, abide in God's word, we do not fear death as even if we die we will live with Him! But that doesn't mean you go and die and expect to go to heaven and be with God as we should cherish our lives a lot a lot as it's a gift from Him!

If we endure we shall also reign with Him. True enough, Christian path there is still its ups and downs and it might not be an easy road but if we endure through, we will surely be blessed and we will reign with him!

If we deny God as our Lord and Saviour, true enough he will also deny us as Child of God so we should not deny Him but we should accept Him!

But if we are faithless to Him, He will still remains faithful as He is God and He won't ever deny Himself!

Yes! Jianhui is back after a joyous day in church! But now, I want to answer a question. How does Christians believe and have so much faith in somebody we can't see and picture which is GOD!

The thing about believing is experience. If you experience Him doing great works in you, of course you will start loving Him, He will love you more too and that is how you believe in Him. But how do we experience?

Daniel always emphasise to us that to experience God, to feel his realness, it's not just by coming to church and treat it as a gathering and stuffs . You will never ever experience God in this way. To experience God, to feel his realness, you have to commit. That is why I'm so busy always. I'm committing my time, schedule and things like that to Him and true enough, He is doing great work in me! Now I'm a cluster leader, class vice chairman and with such a great cell group. I'm very bless you see and that is how I experience Him. Through sacrifice, through commitment, I felt His touch. This is very important as many Christians backslide because they did not feel that God is as real as how last time. God is moving so far away but in actual fact, God is standing there but you did not move in and reach out to Him by a step of faith!

That is how we experience and we believe and thus have such great faith in somebody so highly that we could not picture Him!

Hmms, last week my church had a holy communion and my good friend, Shuyi asked me what is it about? What is the bread and the red drink so here, I'll explain to her and everybody else who did not know what it is.

Holy communion is a rite that Christians perform in fulfilment of the instruction that Jesus gave to do in his memory of what he did in giving thanks and sharing with his disciples bread and a cup, which he referred to as his body and blood!

Here, I would like to give an occasion how God had prove how real he is in my heart. It was really a personal touch from GOD.

It was Saturday (1 September) and I studied through the whole night without sleeping as I wanted to finish my studies as much as possible because I'm spending time in church on Sunday. Sunday came and I asked my mum whether I can go church and she rejected me straight away. I was stumbled. I persuaded her to let me go but she insisted on not letting me go. She even cried on my bed! So, I prayed to God for me to make the decision whether to stay at home or defy my mum. I did not got any answer actually but I took a step of faith, telling God,"She is the only mum I have so I'm putting everything I have into Your hand and go to Your house." I changed my clothes and walked out of the door. I felt devastated but I made that final choice.

During praise and worship, I could not lift my hands,voice and clap. I could only lift a little, sang mickey mouse praise and worship and just let my hands slip pass each other. Tears was gathering in my eyes, more and more and I just tear. Since so long! It was really tiring. No sleep and made that tough choice, I was really tired. I prayed and prayed that everything is going to be al right.

After service, I went home and to my grandmother house to find my mum. To my greatest surprise, my mum talked to me in a very nice way as if nothing had happened! I thank God for that! God is so real to me that time and we should really experience God and the time when God is most real is the time when you needed his touch most.

Here is an E-mail I want to share. It is called the four wives. I'm quite sure a lot of people have read it but I still want to share as it's very true.

Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.

He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confident and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.

The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her!

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, "I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone."

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!", replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!", replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!" His heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!", replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave." Her answer struck him like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.

Then a voice called out: "I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was very skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"

In truth, we all have the 4 wives in our lives:
Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.

Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others.

Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

And our 1st wife is our Soul . Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go.

Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us to the throne of God and continue with us throughout Eternity.

Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray.

ACTS 2:11-12

11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” 13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”

Okay, for some non-Christians, when you visit churches they would be speaking those un-understandable language. People may think we Christians are crazy but nope, we ain't crazy. Even people who first came across people who speaks in tongues were amazed. The Cretans heard people speaking in tongue and they were mocking saying, "They are full of new wine." Everybody knows, wine makes people drunk so they are saying they had lost their mind but below posts shows that we are not crazy but it's just the holy spirit in us and almost anybody can have the gift as long as you have faith to receive.

Morale of the story: We Christians are not crazy and it's not being possessed but it's just the holy spirit so don't be shock or whatsoever. Thank you!

Here is the part 2 of me talking about the gift of the holy spirit. As promised, I will explain on how do we humans now get it and why don't we just pray in our own English, Chinese or Dialect?

Okay, first, I'll answer you on how to receive the gift of holy spirit.

Firstly, the gift of holy spirit is open to ALL who sincerely wants to accept Christ and follows Him. So if you have not accept Christ and wants to do it, give me a call and I'll be most willing to pray for/with you.

Next, for those who have accepted Christ but not received the gift of the holy spirit, what's now? Firstly, the magic word in Christian life would be faith! Formula to accept the gift of holy spirit would be Faith plus Prayer. Well, some people have faith and kept on praying for that but nothings happen. Atmosphere do add in the factors too sometimes. Receiving the gift of holy spirit could be easy and could be hard but what's most important is to have faith. So, if you wish to receive it and still could not, contact me, I invite you to my church and I'll pray for you with my cell group friends.

Okay, so first question is done and next is why must we pray in tongues and not in other languages? This question is just simple logic. Praying in tongues is something like "heaven" language you see. So, just like when a Malay friend speak to you in your mother tongue, lets say for me is Chinese, I will feel more close and able to relate easier. So, when we pray in tongues, we are relating to God in a closer way. Simple logic!

WE ARE HAPPY GOING TO CHURCH =D

A lot of non-Christians or maybe even young Christians are wondering what nonsense are we praying in Church where nobody could interpret the words. They might think it's crazy to suddenly talk rubbish so here I am to explain about speaking in tongues.

Firstly, just for your information, we Christians believe in trinity God which is God the Father, Jesus the Son and Holy Spirit the Spirit. So, people might wonder we are worshipping 3 Gods and stuffs like that. No no no, it is just one God with 3 identity taking myself for example. I am a cluster leader, student and a son of my mum and dad. That does not mean I am 3 different person but it's just 3 different identity. It works the same way as God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Okay, so uttering of tongues is from our Holy Spirit. Let me introduce some bible verses to make it easier to understand. It's going to be quite long but well, it's interesting and will clear your doubts.

Acts 2

Coming of the Holy Spirit

1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord^[a] in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Crowd’s Response

5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” 13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”

Peter’s Sermon

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.

Okay, on top I've highlighted quite a few verses for me to explain clearer. The first parts says about a group of people went into a house. They were of different nationality meaning they speaks different languages but when the Holy Spirit came, they began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Utterance here means words even speaker don't understand.

So this is what we called Holy Spirit. But how do we humans now get it and why don't we just pray in our own English, Chinese or Dialect? All this shall be explained at the next post so stay tune! The other highlighted ones I will talk about it soon too! So, stay tune!!

Sorry for not posting for quite some time. My computer was spoilt recently therefore did not have a chance to post. Things have been going on in my life too but here I am to share something. Teacher's day is around the corner so I'm rather involve in the Teacher's day concert. Written a song with a Malay friend and it's rather nice. So, yesterday was the audition. It was really super scary as the standard of the performers was really high. To be outstanding against 10+ teams wasn't easy but by faith, I've completed the audition without much crop up.

Today is the result time and well, thank God I managed to got through and able to be the top four among so many outstanding team. Well, I prayed super hard for that. So this is just my testimony.

I am not blogging about the word of God today is because recently I received a comment on my blog. People say that it's too packed with word of God so I'm preparing notes on just answers for non Christians about Christianity so if non Christian see this blog, please feel free to ask me questions too!

Preparing yourself for a miracle

Here is a rather old topic. It is called ''Preparing yourself for a miracle''. Some people might find it familiar, some might find it new but read it with an open heart and pray to be impact by it.

Firstly, here is a part in bible where Jesus made miracles. In Mark6:34-44, Jesus created a miracle using five loaves of bread and two fishes to feed 2000 men. So, how to expect a miracle?

1. You must admit that you have a need. Mark 6:34-37
Why does people don't ask God for help?

1] They procrastinate. Meaning they delay thinking that after the time have passed, things will be solved automatically.
2] They do not take ownership of it.
3] They do not have faith that it can be solved and miracle would happen.

2. Access what I already have. Mark 6:38

3] Give God what I have.
-Jesus works in a pattern. He always come and ask us what we have in our hand.

4] Expect God to multiply it.
-Faith is expectation. If you have faith, you believe and thus you will be able to expect miracle to happen!
-God work through us like the bible says, I can do all things THROUGH Christ who strengthen me.

Dear Heavenly Father,
As I take time to post this rather short message in Your presence with Your word, I hope despite short, this message will be impactive. I pray for people who read this message will be able to remove the mindset that time will eventually heals but it is God who heals!I pray for people to be able to access what I already have, just like Shamgar who used a horse-goat to defeat so many people as it was what he had. I pray for people to be able to know the fact that by giving God what is all they have, God will multiply it as long as it's your treasure and not a tip to God so that he would have a miracle for people. Yes! Finally JianHui come out with a message on his own! But, it's rather dumb as what I'm going to share is the occupation which I recommend for some Christians. Please give me your comments on how you think of this message so that I can learn and change.

Well, we Christians always say we want to be more like God, more like Jesus isn't it? There's even a song by City Harvest Church Cross album, ''Heart after you'' stating how we want to be more like Him. There goes;
-I just, want to be, more like you
-Walk with you beside me Lord
-Won't you be my guide
-Place your heart inside my soul
-A heart that's ever true
-One that's after you

Yeah, it's a very nice song. If you want it, ask from me. But back to the point, what occupation will make you be more like God? What I've discovered myself is our God is a very good designer with great precision! So, I suggest designer as a occupation which make us seems more like God. Be it a artefact design, environment design or even a designer of humans' life just like Adam Khoo who goes around change people and shape their attitude and life for the better.

Well, please ask me why as I'm going to explain it from the bible!

Firstly, in Genesis, everybody should know God created the earth and the heaven for us.

Even Satan is for us! People might ask, if God loves us, He wants us, why did He allow a Satan to come and disrupt our life and let us be separated from God. The explanation is just like how your parents treat you! The outside world is full of temptation, lust, greed and so many bad things but your parents love you isn't it so? If God love you then he got to have you all away from Satan, your parents should not let you step out of the door! God is giving us freedom of choice, He wants us to know good between bad just to shape our life's better.

God can be called the top notch designer as He's a designer not even life. He is the best furniture designer and maritime designer too! In Exodus 25:10-27:19, God describes the design very precisely in the bible. All the dimension, purpose were all stated clearly in the bible. Don't believe, go to the links and go to the link to read bible and see for yourself! He designed the ark, table, lamp stand and so much more!

Here is another example how did God design life. Moses is an example. God made him a shepherd to train him. A small job like this, he managed to do great work. From the shepherd of sheep, he became the shepherd of human and it's A LOT of lives involved. God made him to bring the Israelites out of Egypt with the gift of bringing a big group from one place to another.

God too, have designed your life but the choice to construct or not construct His well planned design is up to you! Let God make full use of you as your life is already well planned. Remember, He won't short changed you. Find your gift that God have given to you, find your destiny and bring glory to Him.

Dear heavenly Father,
I come before You Lord with a great longing to be more like You. My main intention of sharing this message is not to encourage people to be a designer actually but for them to find their destiny! Lord, as somebody might be reading this post, please impact them. Give them revelation, knowledge and wisdom. Let them know their destiny and their gift You have given to them, be it a gift of speech or even a gift of design! Lord, motivate them to work hard for the destiny as they strive and persist, their life will be blessed, glory will be brought to God. Lord, anoint them and me too. Here, is a topic about reading the word of God extract, edited, adapted from a book entitled, ''Everyday with Jesus''

People always say you are what you eat which is rather true! Jesus and Moses, being human, were verbivores. Their food is the word of God and they are word-digesting beings. When the devil, aka serpent tempted Jesus to use His power as the Son of God to turn the stones into bread, Jesus quoted:

Deuteronomy 8:3 (New King James Version)

3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

Our Lord defeated the devil three times by saying ' it is written' and all three quotes are from the book of Deuteronomy.

Something more than physical nourishment like chicken essence, bird nest is needed if we are to really live. We need the spiritual sustenance which can be found in the words that come out from God.

So often it is the 'word' of men, not the Word of God is taken to heart by us and it becomes the power that changes our thinking about all things. The shape of our soul is largely determined by what 'word' we accepted, we believe and we trust. If God's word does not have pride of place in our souls then our souls cannot be develop or function like how it was designed originally!

Prayer for this message:
Dear heavenly Father,
Through this message here, I come to realise, I come to see and understand that my soul was made for Your word, by Your word and through Your word. It is just like how you make bird to be flying in the air, fish to be in the sea. Lord, please help me to open myself more to Your word, allow me to be shaped by Your word in just how You want it to be and not shaped by other words to be what you don't want my soul to be shaped in. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Well, due to time constrain, I'm just going to blog a very short message.

Luke8:5-8
A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundred fold...He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Okay, some might be wondering why am I talking about seeds? It's not as if I'm going to teach you how to farm. Seed refers to the word of God!

Those by the wayside are the ones who hears the word of God then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They don't take the word of God into their heart but just let it be there and let the devil take away so that the devil can take over you without the word of God overcoming him! So, have the word of God in your heart!

Those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy, and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. It's like when people tell you the word of God, God's promises and you are like fascinated and happy that God is so good but you do not love God and be rooted to His words so you won't follow God's commandments and etc, therefore you will fall into temptation!

Those who fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit of maturity. It's just like you know God, believe in Him and he blesses your life but you do not grow and serve Him but expect him to bless you by just BELIEVE in him only! Sooner or later, the blessing from God will decrease and you will think God treats you no good and you will backslide!

Lastly, those who fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. You listen to the word of God and work on it and bring glory to Him, you will grow with the seed and become a strong Christian.

I've made it a point to have the seed to fall on the good ground to grow so what's yours?

Topic of the day: Working for the harvest.

For there to revival, a lot a lot a lot of work have to be done.

Mark 2:1-5

1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately^[a] many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

This verse talks about four friends carrying their paralytic friend to Jesus despite the over flowing room.

7 Characteristic that healing takes place.

1: Compassion- God given revival to you.
People do not bring friends might have the negative mindset that the church is too occupy, too many lost soul so today I don't need to bring friends. No No No, its not going to work this way.

John 4:35 (New King James Version)

35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

You got to lift up your eyes and SEE. Compassion brings you out of empathy and self- centerdness. Christian must spread around and compassion will lead you to prayer!

2: FAITH
In Mark2:5, Jesus saw the four friends' faith in bringing the paralytic man therefore he was saved and healed. Your faith CAN make a difference in someone's life.

3: Action!
In Mark, the four friends had action rather than just trusting God at home, believe and not doing anything. You MUST have action plan. So, list down a list of friends name that you want to bring to Christ.

4: Persistent
In Mark, the four friends doesn't let difficulty to stop them but open up the roof. If your friends did not accept Christ or did not respond to the altar call, its al right. Give them time, try again and NEVER give up.

5: Creativity.
In Mark, despite the room is filled but the four friends use their creativity to bring their friend in from the roof. How many people know that to have the idea to bring people down the roof just to get into the pack room is not everyone can think of. Creativity will only come if you only have persistent.

6: Co-operation
TEAMWORK! In Mark, the four friends use their teamwork to bring their friend into the room to Jesus. The more the new friend know the people in cell group, the higher chance they will stay. Relationship is always the key to bring people to Jesus. So, if you bring a friend to Church, get all your church members or cell group members to go and know your friend, make him feel welcome and that would be the teamwork of the church and cell group members to win soul and not only one person do the work of winning souls.

7: Sacrifice.
In Mark, the four friends sacrifice time, energy, money to bring their friend in through the rooftop. They spent a lot of time bringing their friend from their house to the overflow room. If you know, it's not going to be easy levelling somebody down the roof as A LOT of energy is needed. They put down their time to work and to earn money just to bring their friend to Jesus!
So, to win souls, to get them saved, get them healed, you just have to sacrifice. Sacrifice your time in fellow shipping with your friend, energy in helping them, be it studies or work and money to bless them with some small things time and time.

LIVE A LIFE IN SACRIFICIAL AND COMMITMENT.

Al right, this post I have here prepared is to encourage my fellow Christian friends to have your own testimony about your life in God!

So, the topic is, ''Sharing the word to the lost''

Definition of the 'Lost' : Someone who have not yet come to trust and have faith in Christ.

3 barriers keeping people from reaching out.

1] Spiritual lethargic.
Spiritual lethargic means to lose the passion and fire for God. When you do not have the fire for God, you will not want to do anything for God including reaching out for lost and sometimes you will soon be the lost. So, you have to keep your fire burning in your heart for God to be able to bring glory to God!

2] Fear of rejection.
This barrier is a very typical reason why people does not reach out. They are afraid of the embarrassment, the unhappiness and the chances of having a strain-er relationship between your friend if he or she rejects you from going to church with you.

3] Lack of practical ' know how'
This doesn't needs much explanation on what is this barrier but I'm going to teach how to share the word to the lost.

Al right, you must know sharing testimony is practically equals to preaching of the gospel. But some people might ask, why is it important to share testimony?

One of the most argument on earth regarding Christianity is your encounter of God.
One of the reason people don't come to Christ because they don't see what God can do to them so tell them!

How to share testimony?
Remember you are not to pick a fight. The sermon is just your life story.

Revelation 12:11 (New King James Version)

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

With the blood of Jesus and testimony, no devil shall win!

How to preach and share?

1. Be interesting.
You must be able to catch their attention and make it that the listener will be interested to know more about how God have changed your life.

2. Be logical.
Some people tends to talk craps when it comes to this. Don't be so illogical saying, for example, you can't find a pen and you pray and God throws a pen on your head. Impossible isn't it?

3. Be specific.
You have to be more specific like specific in telling them after you accepted Christ, every good things that changed in your life must be specific. For example, last time I always get into fight and now I don't, must say what comes to my mind and why I stopped fighting and stuffs like that but don't be too naggy.

4. Be practical.
If you are a non-Christian and someone trying to share the testimony to you and he says God blesses him with $50000 in just a week when he's a student, you think that would be practical and possible?

5. Be warm and genuine.
Being warmth doesn't mean you have to touch the person and make the person feel your physical warmth but smile and let them feel comfortable. Treat them a drink and remember, don't lie about your testimony!

3 steps in sharing testimony.

You must say what happen before, during and after you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

Yuling: Do you believe that God has a plan to PROSPER you, and not to HARM you? plans to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE? God knows what's the best for you.

Here is what my dear friend Yuling has tagged in the CBOX and impact me rather much. A thought suddenly came to me, '' Why when people meets trouble or anything bad, they will have the thinking, Why does God give me this kind of life? Why does God let this thing happen to me?

Today as I was planning what to write for this, God's grace, He gave me answers. In my cell group meeting just now, my cell group leader, Daniel preached about the blessing of Godliness. Its real good and I'm going to share some of it which have my answers for today's post in it.

First thing I want to share is the answer of Why God allow things to happen?

You must know you are living in a broken down world. God allow this things to happen to you is to test you and strengthen your faith. Don't give up as God is going to bring you through.

Talking about God is bringing in you through, here's a famous story Daniel shared today. Footprints in the Sand.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

So don't blame God for all this as He is not leaving you alone!

Here's a testimony that I'm going to share too. Wednesday is Racial Harmony Day for my school and we have a best dress performance. I thought it might be difficult as my class have lone rangers and people who I don't even can interpret what they are thinking but thank God, we win the best dress class! Prizes isn't like WOW but at least its practical for our use! Thank God for that.

Wow, a question from Mr Question Mark.

What if you prayed to god, but he doesnt respond to it? And you really prayed very hard and sincerely?

Okay, firstly, you must remember God is not our magic genie. He is GOD! We must come to Him in reverence and awe and not hoping him to do things for you and stuffs like that.

Next, don't think if your prayer is not answered means God is sleeping or He doesn't cares about you. God always hears our prayers. Sometimes He answers with a 'Yes' or 'No' right away, sometimes He needs us to wait.

Then, God is not someone who we only ask from Him. Instead, we should serve Him, bring glory to His name and stuffs like that hundred times more than praying something to happen because he is your Lord.

Next, dun pray cause you need Him to answer you. Pray everyday. when you are close to God, you sure get the answer.

Lastly, God answer when he sees your intention and not only sincerity in you. If you are very sincere in praying that God will help you harm somebody, NO WAY God is going to answer your prayer because the bible says, LOVE YOUR ENEMY!

So, God won't short change you if you devote to him. I'm an example. God did not short change me at all. Taking this week for example, I have been staying real late up night doing my homework and stuffs. I managed to keep myself awake till 3.30AM and be rather quite energetic in school. 2 and a half hour of sleep for me to withstand one whole day is a WOW to me because I sleep a lot last time for those people who knows me they will agree. How did I managed to keep myself awake? By prayer and having my praise and worship songs on. In fact as the time is ticking away, i get more energetic. All thanks to God! Praise the Lord!!

Welcome to my third blog which is my Christian blog. This blog serves several purposes. It answers non- Christian and young Christian doubts about Christianity. It also serve as a place where Christian tells about their comments. Lastly, it serves as a form of evangelism. Since this is the first post, I'll post about myself in the life of God which is my testimony.

I was a really super duper baddie student when I was in Sec 1 to Sec 3. In my Sec1 life, I regard my life as the life of danger and excitement. I was really super unlucky at that time. Got in the school less than a month a sec 5 fat guy come fight with me. Less than half a month, knocked onto a Malay guy and 30 odd people wait for me outside the class. Before the year ended, around 15 people come around me and find me trouble. How lucky I am? Okay, but I wasn't any good better so I think I deserve those stupid stuffs. I beat up people I don't like, scold teacher, kicked chair at a Math teacher, throw stuffs at them and stuffs like that. Last time my temper was like a beast.

Sec 2, my life starts to get stable at least. The reason for that is I lost the meaning of life. I began to sleep and sleep and sleep. That was my life. Sec 2 was nothing much but Sec 3 is also super interesting.

I start to spar with my bro, Jonathan. We wanted to be the best fighter so we train with each other. Then, a guy called Gary saw us fighting in one very fine day and he got us to fight with him 2on2 as he find another Malay guy. It was like a very short game as teacher chase us back to the class. After that incidence, the Gary began to tell everybody we are what ''express fighter'' which is super duper dumb. People began to get us to fight and we kept on fighting for life. If we don't fight, we get beaten up. That's what in us at that time.

August, Mr Jason Lam En Wei brought me to City Harvest Church anniversary. When i stepped in the indoor stadium, i felt something really different. Its the sense of peace and happiness. It just miraculously come to me and its no joke. Seats were hard to find as there's a lot of people but in the end I sat with Daniel Ngo KeeLiang. A great guy was my first impression as he show me his guards certificate and stuffs like that. Music over there was superb. I was attracted to City Harvest Church from then on.

Ms Wong Yuling was there too and after the anniversary, she began to kept on asking me to go to City Harvest Church. The actual service is at Expo which is super far but i made it a point to go. Eventually, i found my place in Church.

Daniel began to disciple me, teach me and I starts to change. I starts to cherish my life more. Slowly, I start to have a better relationship with people around me. I start to find peace in my life. My life really changed a lot. I start to serve God and God did not short change me by blessing me again and again. He prove to me that He is real with my prayers coming to pass times and times again.

If you don't believe in Jesus Christ, make it a point to try and pray to God and see what happen. You can try praying for things like financial blessings, answers to your little secrets that you wish to know and stuffs like that. God won't be talking back to you but he will show to you what he have and what he want for and from you. TRY IT!
